“DED system MX-Lab that makes new alloys MMCs”
This Metal Matrix Composites(MMC) demo shows how easy it is to research new material with the MX-Lab machine.
In this demo, we stated Al and Al2O3 mixing the powder in 9:1, 8:2, 7:3, 5:5 ratio.
After deposit, the specimens of MMC(Metal Matrix Composites) were analyzed by SEM & EDS and Wear Test.
As a result of the wear test, it was confirmed that the amount of wear was significantly improved compared to the existing pure Al and Al-based alloys.
